Gading Rapids (Jeram Gading)

A beautiful landscape of rainforests, rivers and waterfalls against a backdrop of hills and mountains in the east, over the stretch of sandy beaches on the west coast describes the land of Negeri Sembilan. The topography of this state, situated at the end of the Main Range from north of the Malaysian peninsula, is characterized by this very large area of high ground. Many recreational areas have been identified along this range, the National Park being the largest.

It is believed that the name originated from the existence of many elephants in the area - meaning Gading tusk. The main attraction of Jeram Gading is the waterfall, cascading sheets of water flowing through the trees and boulders home sprays of water into the air as it hits the obstacles in its way, curling in white foam balls before disappearing into calmer waters.

Although the area is not suitable for kayaking, is an ideal place for family picnics. Enjoy frolicking with some children in the clear waters and have the pleasure of listening to the stream. Located 23 kilometers from Kuala Klawang, Jeram Gading is in the Kenaboi. Lead to this tourist attraction, will go down roads lined with shrubs, most of them fruit trees and orchards belonging to villagers.
