Fraser Island can be reached by vehicle barge Rainbow Beach (10 minutes journey). Rainbow Beach is 3 hours north of Brisbane by car.

Rainbow Beach also offers magnificent rainbow-colored sand cliffs with 74 differens shades of sand (for Aboriginal sacred site).
