Clothing Tips - to travelling

1. Coordinate your clothes around one or two basic colors. This reduces the number of shoes and accessories you need to bring.

2. Take as few clothes as possible. Plan on money laundering. One person suggested a week of clothes. I take less unless they are my washable silks.

3. Use washable silk clothing whenever possible. It is as cordial and as cool as cotton. It dries overnight and 10-15 pieces have no more space than two pairs of jeans. There are some other artificial fabrics that travel and if not better, but cost a bit more.

4. The plastic rain coat can double as a bathrobe or windbreaker.

5. Take the older clothes that can be discarded along the way. Solid growth of children. Many places, local people are pleased to receive these castoffs. There are travelers who take nothing but old clothes so that they have much more space for souvenirs to take home.

6. Jeans - I never have to take so long to dry. If both time and money to money-laundering concerns, to have light-weight trousers.
